Claimants ages 55–65 deserve focused attention because Social Security applies special vocational considerations beginning at age 55, and the decisions made during these years may affect both disability benefits and future retirement benefits. That is why every Thursday is our 55–65 Claimant Appreciation Day. Attorney Stephanie Joy personally reviews the short claim-evaluation forms submitted by claimants in this age group and devotes Thursday phone time to calling them directly to explain what options may be available.
